The host was kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the street was quiet. I could get to the city center on foot or by tram in 15 minutes max. I ended up staying a month instead of the weeks I'd planned because of the war in Ukraine, and with my dog along, I couldn't have found a better place. Traveling with a dog is always a big burden.

The neighborhood is cosy, green, and pleasant for walks, with three different shops just a three-minute walk away. We came as refugees from Ukraine, my wife, our dog, and me, with nowhere to stay. Rafal offered us a nice room for two weeks at a reasonable price. We could use the shared kitchen to cook, and there was a work table in my room so I could work remotely. We did the cleaning ourselves, which was acceptable for the price. Five stars for the hospitality!

The room was okay for the price, and I had no complaints about it. But my worst experience was at reception. I booked through booking, where it said card or cash payment was fine, but the lady who greeted us insisted cash was the only option. She spoke only Polish, which we didn't, and it took a while before she understood and asked someone to come explain the conditions to us roughly. There was just one bathroom for five rooms on the floor, which I don't think is enough. My only real problem was reception. I stayed there with a friend in October 2016 and hope that issue has since been fixed.

It's a quiet, nice location, and the rooms are spacious and good, if not very fancy. There's a small parking lot, and it's good for the price.
