You’re right in the centre, with two tram stops just outside. The rooms are simple, but clean and roomy. The bathroom is on the small side, though it’s clean and does the job.

The lift is really noisy and a bit scary, so I’d skip it! Otherwise, there’s a good vibe here and the rooms are decent for what you pay. V Pub is only a few doors away, mostly locals but very friendly, and Kraków’s main club is nearby too. Old Town is about a 5-10 minute walk.

There’s a water fountain to top up your bottle, and the room has a cabinet, TV, table and chair. I found the bed comfortable, though a little small, and the bathroom was nice despite the small shower and no bathtub. The location is perfect. It was my first time at Daniel Griffin hotel in Krakow, and it was good overall. I only wish they had laundry, ideally free laundry, and a bigger lift since this one is small.

Everything is within walking distance, and after our flights were cancelled and rearranged, the hotel quickly sorted out an extra night when I emailed. We paid for it after arriving. Check-in was easy, the woman was lovely, and they let us in an hour early. The room is basic but tidy and clean. The lift feels a little odd at first, but once you try it, it’s not so bad. We only just arrived today, but honestly it’s not bad like some reviews say.
