I came away with very bad memories of this stay. The place was neglected and dirty, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The sound carries poorly through the walls, which was a downside. Getting into the brick apartment building was a struggle too, since the stairway door needed a really hard push and took us several tries. Still, the place had atmosphere and was affordable. The cleanliness seemed perfectly adequate to me, despite what some earlier reviews might lead you to expect. The photos were taken at the end of our stay, so things look a little messy.
