Fragola Apartments Vistula View

I like this building, and the bathroom was very clean. The location is peaceful and only a short walk from the old town. Fragola’s customer service was helpful when I had a problem after hours.

My stay was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend booking here. I reserved three rooms, and the experience was very uncomfortable. You could hear footsteps from upstairs and hear the neighbors through the very thin walls, with no privacy. The floors were dusty and dirty, and cleaning wasn’t up to standard. Some rooms had no air conditioning, so in summer we had to rely on fans, which made the stay unbearable. The towels smelled unpleasant, and the soap provided was very poor quality. Despite the strict no-smoking rule and 1000 AED fine, the room smelled strongly of dog urine. The neighbors were racist and sprayed water on us while we were standing outside. We reported it to security and management, but no action was taken. Management ignored our complaint after receiving their payment. We booked partly for the beautiful sea view shown in the pictures, but trees completely blocked the view. The website photos are misleading and inaccurate. I don’t recommend staying here at all.

We slept really well, and had a lovely time in the clean, fault-free apartment. The view from our room was lovely too. Staff at the front desk were lovely, and the instructions made getting to the room really easy. Fragola apartments communicated well and were very helpful throughout. It was around a 10-15 minute walk to the old square, which worked well for us since we got our steps in and stayed somewhere quieter, away from the centre. It might feel a bit far for anyone who has trouble walking. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

The little apartment had great views, and we got some privacy. Our fourteen year old daughter is extremely fussy at her age, but she loved it. There’s a beautiful little square behind the apartments, and the town centre is just a stroll away. I highly recommend it.
