The poor Wi-Fi was a serious drawback: after my first two hours there was no connection at all, so I had to use cafés and public places to get online. If you need to work remotely or join a conference, be prepared for that. I also arrived Sunday around 7 pm to find the shops closed and no bath soap or shower gel in the room. I had to use hand soap and buy soap the next day. I told Ms. Lena and Ms. Victoria, but they couldn’t help for internal reasons. A small shower gel or soap sachet would have been useful. There were some good things during my two nights in Krakow. The room and bed were a generous size, there were enough towels, and the door had secure locks and deadbolts. The bathroom was large, with a very good shower, strong pressure, and hot water. Heating worked well. The kitchen had utensils for a simple pan-cooked meal and a kettle, plus a few starter coffee sachets. The building felt secure and the location was good, close to the central bus station for Flix Bus and other services. A nearby grab-and-go shop was handy, though pricey. One safety concern: entry involves the main door with a key fob or code, then a second door that only opens with a key, then the apartment door. I think that second door should have an inside deadbolt and be unlockable from outside with a key. It would make it quicker to get out in a fire, especially if someone left without their keys. With these issues, I can’t give the stay a high rating.
