That quiet side street in the historic centre suited me well, and I was happy to receive a bottle of wine as a loyalty-program member. I only stayed one night, but I’d come back: I was basically satisfied. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the clean room had a nice design, though it was only okay for space. The bathroom could use more room. The shower doors sometimes stuck and made an unpleasant noise, and the fold-out hairdryer kept snapping back into its storage position. I mentioned both issues at reception when leaving, and got a friendly apology.

Agnieszka really made the stay special. She was patient, knew her stuff, and was always ready to help. We also loved how comfortable, clean, and modern everything was. The location worked perfectly for us, beside Planty and about a five-minute walk from the old square.

The staff were lovely and helpful throughout, and the hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated. It’s in a peaceful spot without much traffic, yet the main attractions are no more than a ten-minute walk away. Our room did get too warm overnight because we couldn’t control the air conditioning, so we had to open the windows. Not a huge complaint, but worth knowing. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Krakow.

We really enjoyed the breakfast, with plenty to choose from, and the location made getting around easy: Rynek Główny is about five minutes away on foot, and Kraków Główny around ten. Garamond was a lovely base for our ten-night Christmas trip. It feels elegant and luxurious, and the staff were both friendly and professional. Krakow is beautiful and charming, and Poland is a fantastic country with wonderful people.

The hotel was very nice, with spacious rooms and a big, comfortable bed. It’s also easy to walk to everything nearby. I just wish the staff had been friendlier.
