GregTom Home Hostel

The Home Hostel is relaxed and laid-back, unlike the two party themed places, Beer Hostel and Party Hostel. I hadn't stayed in a hostel for a while, and was pleasantly surprised by how well the rooms and setup were designed. I liked the suite arrangement, with two rooms sharing a bathroom, kitchenette, and two shower stalls. The stalls are tiny, though. You practically need to be Houdini to manage in there. It's very close to Old Town Krakow. Free breakfast and dinner are a huge bonus for the price. No other notes from me. Highly recommend if you want a quieter hostel with the option to go out on the pub crawl.

Breakfast was often gone within two hours, with cold eggs and no waffles left, but the free dinner was amazing. The room was great, though its lock broke and a locksmith had to come replace the keys. Service was great too, although the one tour they booked for me was cancelled and refunded. It was good, just not perfect. I'll be back! :)

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I overheard them advising guests about public transport, nightlife, and restaurants. I was only in Krakow for 14 hours and needed somewhere to sleep, my first hostel stay in 17 years, since my heavy partying days in my twenties. I was pleasantly surprised. Since they have several properties, including one aimed at partygoers, this one seemed more relaxed. The dinner was ordered in and really good, while staff made a plentiful breakfast. Other guests respected quiet hours. The bed was comfortable enough for one night. The pillow was awful, but a hoodie fixed that.

G&T Home Hostel is quieter than other places in town but still social. I met lots of people over the free dinner. Tori was also really great and helpful, making everyone feel at home. It's been a long time since I had such a good hostel stay. Thanks a lot, I loved it!
