Hotel Elektor

We were delighted with the value for money and would happily return. The hotel is right by the Christmas markets, with shops and restaurants close by. Everything was spotless, the thoughtful room design had details down to the smallest things, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. A warm bath after a cold day was just what we needed. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh, unusual dishes to choose from. The staff were incredibly kind and helped with every request, even things beyond their responsibilities. We travel a lot, and this is one of the hotels we'd gladly come back to.

The location and reception were good, and the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. But we had the most expensive room and still found it poorly maintained and not very clean. If you're coming for the weekend, I'd bring earplugs.

The location was ideal, just a two-minute walk to the centre, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants around the corner. The price for two nights was reasonable, the room was clean, and all the staff were really nice.

The room was in awful shape, despite its large European size and comfortable big bed. The carpet had dark and red stains, the closet shelf was badly glued and broke under weight, and after we reported it, we were accused of failing to report the original damage. The fridge barely cooled, the towel warmer wouldn't turn on, and the Wi-Fi was too weak to use. The old hairdryer overheated and shut off quickly, and the shower floor was dangerously slippery. The air conditioning was broken, leaving room 305 at 27°C (81°F). We raised the issue with five different people and were told it couldn't be fixed until after we left. They offered a 15% discount, but it still hadn't been confirmed when I wrote this, and our original 100 PLN deposit hadn't been returned either. We stayed from September 4th to 6th, 2025, booking two nights because the reviews were so good. The location was fantastic and breakfast decent, but maintenance was lacking. Klaudia was rude and indifferent about the air conditioning, unlike the other employees. I hope they fix everything so future guests don't go through what we did. If you want a pleasant stay, never accept room 305.
