Hotel Start

Please stay away. The place felt like an abandoned hospital in a horror film, and the sheets clearly hadn't been changed for us. There was hair on every pillow and even footprints on the bedding, so we had to call room service about it. Honestly, sleeping on a park bench would have been better.

If you want a few spicy emotions, this “hospital” is the place, since that’s literally what the entrance says. Our room was dusty, dirty, and old, the bed was uncomfortable, and the door was damaged. Then they blamed us for the damage. Very disappointing.

The staff were a bright spot for me, but the hotel itself was a mess when I stayed. The floors were dirty, and I wasn't sure I'd trust the showers either. It may suit you if you're on a tight budget or don't mind a few nights somewhere lower quality.

For the price, the stay was great value, and breakfast was included. It’s a safe, friendly, adequate place, even if it isn't the most modern or attractive hotel. Tesco superstore is right next door, and there's a five-star spa hotel nearby if you fancy an afternoon treat. Rynek Glowny is only a short, very cheap bus or taxi ride away.
