Let's Rock Hostel

The staff were friendly, but I found the hostel management completely unacceptable. I know it’s a party hostel, but that doesn’t excuse ignoring basic rules in shared dorms. In the 12-bed dorm, I witnessed people having sex. That should never happen in a shared room when private rooms are available. They kept coming in with flashlights and disturbing people, apparently thinking nobody would notice. Their moaning and loud noises woke other guests. I planned to stay longer, but left after the first night because I was so uncomfortable. Early in the morning, I went downstairs, left my bags and checked out. I tried to tell a staff member from the previous shift what had happened. She was drinking beer with other guests, said her shift had ended and told me to speak to someone else. I’m also attaching a photo showing a woman’s and a man’s clothes on the same bed, which reflects what happened. This points to a serious lack of control and professionalism. The manager should take a hard look at who is handling reception and these situations. For travellers who enjoy a good atmosphere, respect and have experience staying in hostels, this behaviour is unacceptable. If you want rest, respect or even basic consideration in a shared space, this isn’t the place. Avoid it if you have even a minimum level of respect for others.
