January 2026, room 2/9 This was my second stay because the place is close to everything and I already know the area. The customer service really stands out. When I arrived at 9pm, box 2 was empty even though I’d received the access codes and room number earlier. I messaged, got asked for a photo, and within two minutes they had moved me to another room and sent fresh codes. Outstanding response. The downside is that I’d paid for a superior double and got a studio instead. I’ve messaged on WhatsApp asking about the difference and compensation, but haven’t received an explanation or compensation yet. I’ll update this once they reply. The new bed doesn’t creak, and the bathroom is vented, unlike the previous room. But there was a filthy towel folded up where two clean ones should have been. Heating is capped at 2 out of 5, so it barely takes the chill off. You’ll need thermals and both quilts to sleep, and two people will be cold. There’s only one small pillow each. The decor is still up to a high standard, and the usual tea and coffee are provided. The hand wash and shower gel are watery and don’t lather, so you have to use a lot. I’m only using the room as a base and won’t be in all day, but if you were, it’d be very cold 🥶 September 2025, room 8 I really wanted to give this five stars, and struggled for three days to figure out how to write this, so here are the good and bad bits. Inside it’s tidy, modern, spacious enough for one person, and decorated in pleasant neutral colours. There’s a modern wardrobe and storage rack, a flatscreen TV with a “free” remote, tea, coffee and sugar, and towels and bedding. The water pressure is amazing and the shower gets hot. It’s double glazed, carpeted, and close to all amenities. Bus stops for routes all over krakow are six minutes away, and four shops are within a five-minute walk. The bed creaks terribly, and I couldn’t sleep more than four hours at a time. Street noise is bad enough that you either sweat with the windows closed or wake around 6:30 or 7am. Loud passers-by and neighbours can wake you too. There’s no fridge, though I booked self-catering, and I only had two bath towels for a week. There are two separate sets of windows, not double glazing. The sockets hang slightly away from the wall. The carpet is laid like a rug, with curled edges. There’s no bedside light or switch for the ceiling light, no bathroom vent, and no AC or vent in the bedroom. The cabinet drawer is swollen. The building is the only one outside that hasn’t been painted; the apartments on both sides of the road are unpainted too, though everywhere else is painted. It is a positive review, but the place could be better. I was shattered and lying down by 10pm, the stated quiet time is 10-6, yet I was awake by 5 at the latest from street noise. The decor inside is stunning and very modern, with a black shower head and beautifully tiled bathroom, plus black switches and sockets. But that creaky bed really spoils it, and in summer there’s nowhere to keep even a cold drink or milk for tea or coffee. Customer service is what makes the place shine. It needs two pillows, winter bedding and warmer heating, or you should avoid staying in the cold months. I’ll upload photos once I’ve packed. Below are bathroom pictures.

I slept incredibly well here, the bed was so comfortable. The apartment was spotless and nicely decorated, with fresh towels, toiletries, a welcome basket, and everything else I needed for a comfortable stay.

The place was hard to find, but the location was great. My room was clean and basic, with what I needed for a short stay. I’d stay again if I visit Krakow.

A lovely place to stay.

Don’t book this “apartment” if you expect a proper studio. I was travelling around and needed somewhere quickly, so I filtered Booking.com to show apartments only. The listing said “entire apartment,” then I chose the studio option at £60 a night, expecting a basic studio flat. Instead, it was a tiny room with a shower and an old, uncomfortable sofa bed. The sheet didn’t even fit properly. They should make clear what guests are actually booking and charge an appropriate price. I wouldn’t be upset if I hadn’t felt scammed. Check the one-star studio reviews too, because others seem to have felt the same way.
