Plaza Boutique Hotel

The view from our room over the snow, forest, and flag was lovely, and the room itself felt excellent and the hotel looked quite luxurious for the price. We also got rides to and from the hotel through booking.com for £22 each, which made getting around much easier. Trams take you to the old town, or it’s about a half-hour walk over a nice bridge with shops along the way. There aren’t many places nearby, and the ones we found spoke mostly Polish. We tried a pizza place, but it was hard to make ourselves understood, and got some decent chips at a kebab shop. The other downside was that no staff were on site: you’re sent a door code for self-service entry. It confused us at first, and I had to call to ask what to do. I’d prefer to have at least one person at reception, though I can see they save money this way. Still, it was a great hotel for the price.

For a work trip, I found this a convenient, dependable place to stay. It’s close to Podgórska Street, with easy access to Kazimierz and the Old Town after work. The area is well connected but a little away from the busiest tourist spots, so it was quiet and practical. I was unsure about staying somewhere without a traditional reception, but it turned out not to matter. The instructions were clear, check-in was simple, and everything went smoothly. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with what I needed for a work stay. A straightforward, well-organized hotel.

The hotel is in a pleasant area near the river, with bars serving excellent food close by. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old town, where there’s plenty to see. We also booked the salt mines tour through the hotel, and they picked us up there. Our room was a good size, clean, and had a comfortable bed. Towels were changed daily, breakfast had an excellent range, and the staff were pleasant, attentive, and very helpful. I’d stay here again.

The staff were so kind and went above and beyond to make my partner’s birthday special. Special thanks to 'Sunayom' for getting the room ready! It was clean, modern, and had good amenities, and the sauna and gym were a nice bonus. The location is great too, near lively bars as well as quieter cocktail bars. Looking forward to exploring more!
