Pugetow Hotel

Barbara, the proprietor, is a charming, very helpful host, and nothing is too much trouble for her. This small family-run hotel is peaceful and sits on the edge of the old town. There are only six double rooms, one of them a suite. Every room has an en suite bathroom, and ours was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit and cheese, continental choices and cooked options. We're three couples who loved our stay in Krakow. The Polish people are the best.

The hotel worked really well for our big group, especially in winter or during the pandemic when you can't stay out late. There's a basement where everyone can gather. Our rooms were nice and quite spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included, but there were lots of bakeries nearby since the hotel is very close to the city center. The rooms were a little cold, and the wi-fi wasn't great. In room number 6, it had no signal.

A lovely little hotel right in the heart of Krakow. We booked the suite, which had a bedroom and a big living room. It was great and comfortable, with a good breakfast and an excellent location.

We booked this hotel online for our first visit to Krakow and didn't regret it. The staff were great, and everyone was very friendly. We had the two rooms on the top floor and enjoyed our five days there. Just outside is the terrace restaurant Il Calzone, where they served excellent food. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent. Pugetow is only a couple of minutes' walk from the old city and the big square. There are only six rooms, so we'll stay here again on our next visit if any are available.
