Station Apartments Kątowa 11 Krakow

The studio was just the right size for four of us spending a weekend exploring Krakow. It was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. A couple of issues came up, but they were sorted out very quickly and weren't the hosts' fault. It's an easy walk to the shopping center and Old Town. We'd definitely recommend it and stay again if we return to Poland.

I booked through Booking, and after it was confirmed I was told there was no receptionist. Check-in was self-service using a code for the electronic door locks. I asked whether someone could help, since the reservation was for an elderly person who might struggle with the locks. Catherina replied that she wasn't going to the property each time. I ended up canceling and asked for the fees to be waived, but she refused, even though the booked date was almost a month away. Very mean. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.

The apartment looked nice inside, and the WiFi was the only thing that matched the website. There was no terrace or garden, just cycle storage. A woman living in a ground-floor apartment shouted at us for smoking outside; when we asked where the guest garden was, she said she didn't know. The next day we went out there again and she slammed the door on us. Apparently, people live in these rooms full-time too. There aren't any shops or bars close by. It's a long walk and you have to cross busy roads, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with young children or walking difficulties.

The apartment was good, and the staff were very helpful. Great place, highly recommended.
