Willa Retro hostel

Willa Retro felt cozy and welcoming, almost like home. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the free coffee and tea were a nice touch. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely return. Great place to stay!

I haven’t stayed here myself, but my uncle has and asked me to post his review for him. I don’t mean anything negative toward the owners. In his own words: “The Wi-Fi didn’t work and it’s pretty gloomy.” I’m giving it five stars because I don’t want to affect the hotel’s reputation or criticize the owners when I haven’t been there and can’t properly review it. Regards.

We didn’t see any workers during our stay apart from a cleaner, and there were no locks on the doors. The other guests seemed to include homeless people and refugees, which made the place feel unsettling and unsafe. I’d tell anyone thinking of staying here to reconsider their plans entirely.

The yard was nice, but there was only one shower on the floor, which, by my calculation, housed around 36-42 people. In summer it gets super loud, since the windows have to stay open because of the heat. The owners bought the Willa and opened a pizza and sushi delivery business in the basement. They have parking for scooters, and the couriers live in the hostel. A masterpiece!
