Breakfast was excellent, with lots of hot and cold choices, and the room was clean with coffee-making facilities. The bed was comfortable, though softer than I like, which is just personal preference. The room itself was a bit small, and the wardrobe blocked access to one side of the bed. Staff helped when asked; most were young, and a few seemed reserved or shy. Their English was still far better than my Polish, so I shouldn’t complain. The hotel is handy for the main station and old town, with buses and trams stopping outside. There are also good, cheaper restaurants nearby. We’d definitely stay again.

Housekeeping kept the rooms exceptionally clean every day, and the staff doing that work deserve a 5-star rating. The young reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, even if they looked almost like teenagers. My medium-sized room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, wardrobes, a separate luggage area, card entry, smart TV, iron and ironing board, and tea and coffee facilities. Water dispensers on every floor had free soda too. The one thing missing was a fridge. There’s a tram stop right outside, making it easy to get around, and Kraków Główny is a short walk away for trains to the airport and elsewhere in Poland. Breakfast is optional and served outside in a cozy garden setting. The selection isn’t huge, but there’s enough to start the day. I paid €35 a night, €105 for three nights, and found it excellent value. Highly recommended.

The staff were great, and so were the breakfast and location. There are lots of different rooms, and I’d say breakfast is worth having just for the cakes. Parking at the back is handy for pick-ups and similar. It’s roughly a 10-15 minute walk to the centre, but the tram stops right outside and the system is wonderfully cheap and efficient. Tickets are charged by travel time, in 20-minute blocks. For 4 PLN, less than a pound, 20 minutes can take you across the city to the Jewish Quarter, even with a change.

The front rooms get tram noise, which seemed to start around 5am, so I’d suggest booking a garden-facing room. Those are very quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was great, and breakfast had a big range of hot and cold choices. It’s excellent value, too. The location is just at the north edge of the old town, no more than a 10 minute walk from the square. There’s also a superb bakery across the street. I’d stay again if I come back to Krakow.
