A quiet, cozy spot, and the owners are really nice.

With no TV or Wi-Fi, the kids ended up playing together with balls, sticks, and whatever else they could find, which was a good thing. There’s a short, charming walking trail just behind the place, tucked among fields and forests at the end of a country road. It’s a lovely holiday spot with children and a handy base for visiting the Polish Jura, including Góra Zborów, Ogrodzieniec, and Mirów and Bobolice Castles. There’s even a free bird concert every morning.

The area is beautiful, and the place had everything we expected. It’s a great spot for cycling, running, or climbing, and the rooms are clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. There’s air conditioning, a pool table, and table tennis, plus a guitar and piano if you can play. There’s no Wi-Fi, but mobile coverage is good, which worked out well for us. I recommend it.

There’s plenty of space in the rooms, and the kitchen is fully equipped. At the end of the village, surrounded by fields and forests, this makes a lovely base for exploring the Kraków-Czestochowa Upland. Nearby are Góra Zborów, Ogrodzieniec, and Mirów and Bobolice Castles; a little farther out you can visit Ojców, caves, Rabsztyn Castle, and Olsztyn. The free morning bird concert is a nice touch. With no TV, kids can collect their own treasures, stones, sticks, and whatever else they find.
