I’d recommend the place. The beach access is good, around 10-15 minutes on foot to the quieter, unguarded area, and lifeguards are about five minutes away. There’s no Wi-Fi or elevator, though strollers can be left downstairs. The gated parking lot is great for keeping the car safe. The room and building feel new, cared for, and nicely decorated. The kitchenette has everything, including a microwave, dishes, and cutlery. The bathrooms are spacious and nice, the beds are comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning works very well. I’m taking off a star because they changed the room I’d booked six months earlier, but the owners made up for it.

The person who checked us in was very unpleasant, and there were around 60 spiders on the fence. The place has potential, but there’s no extractor hood, so cooking for yourself leaves a smell in the room. If you grill, take care not to stain the patio. We stayed here a few years ago. Next time we’ll return to an older, much cheaper place we’ve used before, where the people are friendlier and easier to deal with.

The terrace has a side exit, which is a real plus, though the terrace itself is a little neglected. The studio was clean and tidy, in a quiet area near a shop, and parking is right outside. I’d requested a travel cot and bathtub on the application form, but they weren’t there when we arrived. We ran into the cleaner, though, and she got us both.

The studios were decorated nicely in matching gray and blue, but the upkeep and management were poor. We found around ten spiders when we arrived, and there was no soap or toilet paper. I reported it to the property manager by text and email and got no apology or reply. The next day a man showed up with a bag of toilet paper, said “toilet paper,” and left quickly. Nobody addressed the missing soap or spiders, and we never got an explanation about whether the yellow water in the pipes was normal.
