Zajazd Park

The staff were really friendly, and there’s a supermarket nearby with a great hiking area close by too. Cute dog 🐕 The restaurant food was tasty, looked authentic, and came in big portions for an incredibly low price. I liked breakfast as well. The hotel service was good, and my room was clean and tidy. There was a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom, and the shower door was awkward, but it didn't bother me much. Very nice accommodation and restaurant.

The hosts' service was perfect, and the summer seating has a lovely country view. I was only at the restaurant for about an hour to feed my kids before a long drive to München. Crossing from Germany into Poland for just 2 km turned out to be a good idea, a chance to get homemade Polish food instead of German fast food. It was decent, though not amazing. Prices were normal for Poland, about half what they'd be in Germany. I do recommend the place.

The hotel is cyclist-friendly, with a closed garage where you can store bikes safely. Our Room 2 was clean and well equipped. The main issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room, since the unit is out in the corridor. The window only tilted open, which didn't help much. A fan would have been useful, but what they had was a fan heater. There's a fridge, electric kettle, coffee, and tea in the corridor for everyone to use.

Be very careful with the bill here at Zajazd Park, and check it closely. We went on 31st August, my girlfriend and I, and sat at a barely lit outdoor table. By the time the bill came, it was too dark to read properly. That's on me. We were charged PLN 118 for four large beers, one small beer, one Radler, two Becherovka, and two pizzas. What we'd actually had was one goulash soup, two main dishes, two large beers, and one cola for the designated driver, and that came to PLN 83. Pay by credit card too, because their exchange rate is really bad, more than 10% extra. The goulash soup wasn't good at all, mostly tasted like ingredients from a can. The shab pod pierzyaka (sic?), the meat with Bigos topping, was quite nice, but the potatoes were plain ones reheated in a microwave, not roast potatoes. The salads alongside were poor. They also brought the soup and main dish out at the same time. I can't recommend this place.
