Chata Gajowego

We spent a week in Chatka Smolarza, and it was quiet, green, and very peaceful. The cottage was spotless and had everything, from kitchenware to an iron and ironing board. We needed wine glasses and the owner brought them over when we asked. The Solinka River is just a short walk away, with a restaurant serving home-cooked meals nearby and a grocery shop across the street. The owner's mother-in-law also sells lovely homemade things like farm eggs, cottage cheese, sour cream and butter. The weak WiFi was the only real issue, especially when it rained, and phone reception was poor too. The owner said fiber optic internet is planned.

A lovely base for exploring the Bieszczady Mountains, with Polańczyk and Solina close by. There’s a shop and restaurant nearby, and parking right beside the cottages. The place has a big green area and a great playground for kids. Inside, the modern cottages have two bedrooms, a living room, spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette and covered terrace. A great spot to unwind, highly recommend.

We stayed in the forester's apartment, which was clean, elegant and well-equipped. The cottages are lovely and the whole place is quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly. I recommend staying here.

There’s plenty of space outside, and the grounds are kept in good shape. Inside, the apartment has a large living room with a sofa and table, a roomy bathroom, and a kitchenette with all the necessary appliances. The upstairs bedrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. It’s hard to find anything to complain about.
