Dom Wypoczynkowy Atrium

The pool experience showed me the difference between a hotel and a holiday home. An older man spoke to me in a patronizing way, accusing me of occupying a lane even though there were no clear lane markings. The way he spoke felt more like a show of authority than a conversation with a guest. The lifeguard reacted in a similar tone. I asked how the rules were being applied, since someone else was blocking a lane in the same spot, and was told, “Do you know who that man is?” It turned out he was the manager or owner. The room cleanliness also left a lot to be desired: hair and dust on the carpet, dirty walls, and cracked trim. I have photos. If you expect hotel standards and respect for guests, you may be disappointed here.

It felt more like a hotel than a vacation home, and I had everything I needed: a hairdryer, toiletries, towels, bathrobes, coffee, tea, and both sparkling and still water. The place was wonderful, freshly renovated, clean, and smelled fresh. There was a pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and grotto.

The location was excellent, close to restaurants and other places, and there was plenty of free parking. Breakfast was tasty with enough choice, and the rooms were clean, though they could use some freshening up and had an unpleasant smell. The stay was only average for me. The pool and sauna were crowded because people from outside the hotel used them too, so relaxing was difficult. I don't plan to come back.

Breakfasts were hearty and delicious, with an excellent menu. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. This is a great resort right in the center of Polańczyk, with the small town just steps away. The spa area adds a luxurious touch, with a large pool you can actually swim in, plus saunas and a salt cave. I highly recommend it!
