The food was the real standout. We tried nearly the whole menu and loved the chef's passionate, creative cooking. Make sure to eat here if you visit. The location is also great for hiking, walks, cycling, and enjoying the outdoors. Our family of five had a perfectly sized apartment, though the rooms were basic and the tub and shower setup in the bathroom was quirky but manageable. The pool and sauna area was beautiful and relaxing. Just take care on the pool deck, the tiles get extremely slippery when wet, and the hotel should replace them or add anti-slip material.

The hotel delivers pretty much what it promises on its website. Its location is fine if skiing isn't your main reason for coming, though the slopes in Szczyrk are about a 20-minute drive away.

The room was clean and quiet, and the standards were nice. The menu is simple, somewhat local, and quite tasty. The kitchen is supposed to stay open until 9:30 pm, but it was already closed, so I ended up buying a snack at the nearest shop, which fortunately was open when stated.

The outside is nice and clean, and the rooms are clean and pleasant, but I wouldn't rate them at four-star level. Three stars would be fair. The restaurant and reception feel like 2.5 stars, with uncomfortable chairs and tables. Breakfast also gets 2.5 stars from me. For a four-star hotel, it was a very cheap breakfast. I don't understand why this place calls itself four-star.

I wouldn't stay here again. Another guest somehow entered my room while I was inside, apparently because the hotel gave them the wrong key. Nobody came to explain what happened or apologize. I went to reception the next day to check that I was the only one who could access my room, and still got no explanation or apology. It's unsettling not knowing whether someone might get into your room while you're asleep or away with your belongings there. Staff could have handled it much better with a simple explanation, but none came even after I raised it. The breakfast staff were very nice, though politeness elsewhere was limited. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor a little dated but fine, and I had a really great massage.
