You can hear voices from the neighboring apartment because the soundproofing is poor, and I wouldn’t stay here again. The location is okay, but the apartment’s furnishings are very basic. It’s on the second floor, reached by an outdoor terrace, and there’s no elevator, which is inconvenient. Cleanliness was the worst part: the room was dusty, especially in the corners, and needed a proper vacuum and mop. The toilet was dirty, and the seat hadn’t been cleaned. Housekeeping felt like a sham.

The apartment is nicely done, and the instructions for getting in are clear. That huge painting on the wardrobe, covering the whole wall, is unsettling, though. It shows a man with other men penetrating him from behind, in a medieval style.

The staff were really friendly, and everything inside was clean and nicely presented. For the same price as a cramped room in other hostels, you get a whole studio to yourself here, so the value is very good. It’s close to the center and Piotrkowska Street. Getting to the apartment is an interesting route through two courtyards, a staircase, and a balcony. I’d recommend it.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The mattress was awful, and the place was poorly equipped. There was dirt and lint under the bed, with dust in the corners, and the apartment felt rundown and filthy. The smell coming from the fridge was nauseating.
