Swiatowit

I stayed here in summer 2021, and it was the dirtiest place I’ve ever been. The staff were unfriendly and there was no AC. It was so hot that we opened the window, then had to listen to loud music from people upstairs. The bed was very hard. The closet was dirty, with a used mask and water bottles in a drawer. The bathroom was tiny, the water was yellow, and there was no WiFi. The very old TV didn’t work properly either. So unclean!

This place feels like it belongs to another time. If you just need somewhere to sleep, avoid coming in summer: the room may be too hot to sleep comfortably, and opening the window isn’t an option because city traffic never stops. Breakfast coffee is instant and already made. Parking costs an extra 7€ per night.

The location is great, close to Pietrkowska Street and other city attractions. Every morning there was complimentary breakfast with meats, cheeses, fruit, vegetables, and coffee. My room was clean, though its look was a bit dated, and the Swiatowit Hotel is pretty much par for the course. I was concerned that I could open the room windows wide despite being on the eleventh floor. That could be worrying if travelling with children or clumsier friends.

The rooms are spacious, even when you're staying alone, and they’re clean and functional. The building is old, sure, but the hotel itself is tidy, and the room prices are good.
