For one night, the room on the bus station side worked really well. It was clean, spacious for three people and two dogs, and the shower water got very hot. The dog bed in the hallway was a nice touch, and we borrowed it for our room. We paid 50 zlotys per dog. There are bars and restaurants in the yard, so people were coming and going on Saturday. We could hear quite a bit of hallway noise, though things got very quiet in the evening. The room on the nightclub side was less pleasant, and another group there heard more nightclub noise. Our room was quite hot and smelled at first. Ventilating cleared the smell, but we had to close the window at night because of the noise. So the bus station side was a good choice for an overnight stop.

We needed parking and a late check-in for a quick stop, and Metropol suited us perfectly. We arrived around 1AM, and a staff member was already waiting to check us in. Breakfast is worth getting, especially the curd-filled pancakes. The lady at reception in the morning was very nice, too.

It was so loud we couldn’t sleep at all. We could hear voices and conversations from other rooms and the kitchen, along with cooking noises, pretty much everything. In response to your answer: How were we supposed to know in the evening that it would get extremely loud at 4AM? Nobody warned us our room was next to the kitchen. The walls felt like paper, and the noise made it impossible to get the rest we needed.

Shops, a supermarket, and restaurants are close by, so the location was good. The room was quiet, but it felt too hot for summer and had a smell, maybe deodorant, though it wasn’t nasty. It could use better air circulation.

I stayed at Metropol for a week recently with my wife. The breakfast was fresh, and our room was clean. The hotel itself was clean as well, and service was excelent. The front desk ladies were excptional and helped me whenever I needed anything. I recomend Metropol to people planning to stay in Lomza. Sophie from USA.
