Sleep In Łomża

The host went out of his way to drive me to a store for groceries, which was a generous and helpful thing to do. When we raised problems, the staff tried to sort them out, but there were too many basics missing from the start. We had to ask for enough towels for our family, a mug, and more toilet paper. The shared kitchen ran out of the ground coffee they say they provide and hadn't replenished it for at least three days, possibly longer. In room #7, where we were placed, there were no towel racks or holders for soap and shampoo, which made showering harder than it needed to be. We'd booked months ahead expecting a room with its own kitchen, but found on arrival that there was only one, room #9, and someone else was in it. The building and rooms are modern, nice, and comfortable, so the place has potential and isn't a bad stay. Still, it didn't meet our expectations. Getting around wasn't especially convenient. It's a long walk to the city center, bus station, and proper shops. There are a couple of bus stops nearby, so it is workable, though I didn't find Łomża's bus system intuitive. More attention to details and a welcome packet explaining the buses could make this a quite good hotel.

Wouldn't recommend it. The bed sheets smelled of cigarettes, and the pillowcase was dirty.

A good place, and they even rent bicycles.
