We asked to check in early, but when we arrived the staff said we'd have to wait five hours for the key, until 4pm. At first we weren't even allowed to leave our bags, and they also refused to let us use the toilets. The staff were shockingly rude and the service was terrible. The place is by a lovely lake, but the buildings look like toilet blocks, are very basic, and aren't worth the price. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. This is a terrible place.
We stayed for two nights with our motorbikes. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, including helping us with a money transfer, which was no problem. The rooms were clean and everything was uncomplicated. Thanks, five stars.
The place looked nice, but the owners' bad manners and lack of flexibility ruined the stay. It was a beautiful day, so we headed straight to our accommodation, expecting a little leeway since we'd be early. A grumpy staff member met us at the taxi and wouldn't even let us leave our bags, saying check-in wasn't possible until 4pm. At the time I wrote this, it was already dark by 4pm, so why make check-in so late? We went for a long walk, hoping we could get into our rooms by 2pm at least to drop off our bags, but they still said no. We weren't even allowed to use the toilets. We asked for our money back, but were told we'd already been charged. Think twice before staying here.
Being by the woods and water made for a lovely stay. Grzesiek, the new owner, was friendly and attentive to what our group needed. The accommodations were nice.
