The staff were friendly, and the room in the old building was okay. The location in Lublin's old town is perfect. There isn't a luggage room, but you can leave your suitcases at Reception after checkout. The two twin beds pushed together made one uncomfortable big bed, so keep that in mind if you want a single bed 😂 Breakfast was basic. Fresh fruit would have been nice, and the yogurt could be better.
We stayed for two nights. The hotel is in a nice spot in the old town, and breakfast was good. The room was a little old but comfortable. The bathroom wasn't very big, though it was fine for a short stay.
The location is very good, in the old town and within easy reach of everything visitors want to see. But the place smelled really bad because of the drains, and the bathroom water pressure was so low that you couldn't take a bath. The biggest problem was the invoice. I requested one through booking and again the day before checkout. They accepted my details and said they'd provide it, but on checkout day they said their policy was to issue invoices before check-in. We couldn't have known that. It's a travesty to take our details and promise an invoice, then refuse to give it. Breakfast was included with the room, but it felt unfair to make guests choose between tea and coffee and charge for a second cup.
The staff were friendly, and everything was clean and tidy. The old town location is very nice. The building itself is very old, though, and some details really stand out.
Worst Christmas evening. Nobody answered the phone or opened the door, so we couldn't check in. We're now waiting for a full refund.
