Hotel Strzelnica

The restaurant was excellent, and I appreciated the parking charge point for electric cars. It wasn't free, but the price seemed fair. The hotel itself felt cozy, with friendly staff and plenty to do. My room had the toilet light switch inside the closet. Odd, but okay. I booked through Booking.com, then paid a little less at reception and asked about the SPA. It turned out the SPA cost extra, bringing the total to about what Booking.com had quoted, so I paid for it. There was no one at the SPA reception to give me towels or a locker key. I put my things in a broken locker anyway. The mixed SPA seemed pretty much naked, though people walked around with towels wrapped around them. In my swimming trunks I felt out of place. The regular sauna had a no-swimsuit sign, but everyone inside had a towel, so I skipped it. I tried the steam sauna and cold room, then left. Still no one at reception. On checkout morning, I was told there'd been a mistake and I'd been undercharged, so I had to pay more. That made the original price make sense, but I was disappointed. With the language barrier, I didn't expect to be able to discuss it.
