There’s a kitchenette with a microwave, though no stove, and guests can park on site. The rooms at Irenka and Edmund's are very clean, and there’s a mosquito net over the balcony window. I liked that the owners have two cottages, keeping families with kids and pets apart from couples. It’s close to the Mikołajki promenade and makes a great base for exploring Masuria’s attractions.

I’d strongly advise against staying in this holiday home. We travelled with two dogs, and the pet fee we’d discussed by phone was supposed to be 50 PLN per dog. When we arrived, the owner said it was 50 PLN for one dog and 30 PLN for the other, charged per night rather than once. For our stay, that came to 300 złoty just for the dogs. They weren’t even allowed to run around the property, and the "nice" owner said we had to take them with us whenever we went out. She also said she would check the room despite the fees. That’s what "pet-friendly" means here, apparently. Just money-grabbing. The cottage itself was a mess. We had to buy soap and toilet paper, and even a fan because there was only one "window" like in a basement. The other window didn’t open at all, permanently built in like a display case, and we hadn’t been told about this. Without the fan, we probably would have suffocated. The refrigerator was in the bathroom, along with the boiler, and even though we tried to save water, there wasn’t enough hot water to wash our hair. There was no Wi-Fi. Sorting the garbage was fine, but then the owners went through it and did their own thing. Ugh. The lady finally offered to rent us bikes, for 5 PLN :) I’ve never come across such arrogance, deceit, selfishness, and greed for money anywhere else. We left a day early even though we’d paid for the whole stay. It was unbearable. It’s a shame I’d paid two months in advance, or we would have left straight away. Photos attached.

We’ve just come back from five days in Mikołajki, and we highly recommend Libra Guesthouse! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was clean, had a balcony with a lake view, and bikes were available to use. Great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a quiet place with parking, and the rooms are very clean. Mrs. Irena and Mr. Edmund are lovely, friendly owners. I highly recommend staying here.
