I found somewhere to stay at short notice, and it turned out to be a fantastic place with fantastic people. It’s beautiful here, and I’m hoping to come back next year for the festival. Best wishes to the owners.

The best part of our week away with my son was the view of Lake Kot from the covered veranda by the dining room. We also had free use of the private pier, kayaks, boats, and pedal boat, which was a great bonus. The property is lovely and well cared for, with flower beds and places to unwind, including benches, swings, and a barbecue gazebo. Our room and bathroom were especially clean and well maintained. The hosts and staff were attentive, checking whether we needed anything and sharing tips about nearby places and attractions. It made for a relaxed and enjoyable week, and I’d be happy to return.

We’ve come back for a second year, even though we paid more for a higher standard elsewhere. The owners are so kind, and you could chat with them for hours. The breakfast buffet is hearty and very good. It’s peaceful here, with Lake Kot all to yourselves, and the place has a special feel thanks to the people and the surroundings. There are two piers for fishing without getting in anyone’s way, plus a tennis court, boats, kayaks, and bikes included in the price. Lake Kot connects to Lake Juno by an isthmus, making it great for a paddle or boat trip. The city is about 2 km away and easy to reach by bike, so everything’s close, though the song “All roads lead to Mrągowo” seems to have a point. One small thing, the website photos look a few years old. It’s much greener and more colorful now, and the pictures should be updated. It’s lovely these days 🤩

Even with rain on our first day, the beautiful property made up for it. The owner was very friendly, our room was clean, and breakfast was excellent. The lake was beautiful too, and guests could use two boats, a pedal boat, and kayaks. We’ll definitely be back soon.
