The owner was friendly and helpful, and the views were what you'd expect. I had a room facing the street, with just a small table, and the rooms seem suited to undemanding guests. The kitchenette is very basic, with a fridge, sink, and a dozen small plates and glasses. There’s no microwave, which is a real drawback, and even heating milk is almost impossible. Also, the name "bed and breakfast" is misleading since breakfast is no longer offered.

The rooms felt cramped, and breakfast was a disaster. Eggs left over from one day were served the next day cut up with mayonnaise, and any eggs still left were turned into egg salad. The thawed bread rolls were awful. There wasn't even a sign asking guests to vacuum and mop up after themselves, though the vacuum and mop were in the closet. The owner should rethink how she treats customers, or better still, hire someone to take care of customer service. Grandma Tutka, think about what percentage of your customers come back.

After confirming our reservation several months ahead, we still couldn't take the long-planned vacation at this guesthouse. The owners apparently had no problem selling our room to other guests for those same dates, and then offered us a shorter stay at a later time. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, and I warn others about these "hospitable" hosts.

My daughter and I had a very relaxing stay and are both really happy. The owner was friendly, the breakfast was delicious and filling, and our room was cosy and clean. The views were stunning, and there was hot water, which hasn't always been the case at other places. I recommend it!
