Akwamaryn Spa Niechorze

A nice hotel, and a good fit for families.

The food was really good, with fruit always available at breakfast, and coffee served with dinner that we could enjoy on the lovely patio. The greenery around the property was beautiful, and it was clear the owners look after everything. The pool was great and very warm, and the waitresses were helpful. We stayed five days in a two-room ground-floor apartment. It was clean and comfortable, and the small fridge and kitchenette made it possible to prepare something to eat. The housekeeper stopped by every day to check whether we needed anything. I’d been nervous before arriving because of what I’d read about the owner, but we were pleasantly surprised. A friendly man greeted us and explained everything. He was smiling and happy to chat with guests and children. I’m not sure where the bad reviews came from, but people write all sorts of things. Thanks again to the owners for such a wonderful atmosphere.

The garden in the middle of the property is well kept, and there’s a playground with lots of comfortable spots for children to play. Our kids especially loved the indoor pool, though the whirlpool was usually out of order. The furnishings are a little dated, but the rooms are spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas. The breakfast was hearty, tasty, and offered a good choice. The landlady speaks German. It’s a lovely bed and breakfast near the beach. A footpath gets you to the lighthouse in five minutes, then there are 94 more steps down to the beach. Niechorze is an easy walk, and you can reach the nearby towns by bike.

The owner was really nice, and the food was excellent. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and had a terrace, plus there was a pool. Everything was fine, and I don’t know where the negative reviews come from.
