Hotelik

The staff were really nice and helpful, and there's a train station nearby as well as a great pizza place. For the price, it's a decent place, and I'd stay here again if I needed a night in Modlin. The main issue was the traffic noise. Cars were surprisingly loud for such a small town, and in summer I didn't want to shut the window and lose the fresh air. Ask for a room that doesn't face the road if you can. Breakfast was fine, but the pizza place is better value for the same price. It isn't open in the morning, though. I stayed here for one night before an early flight.

The receptionist was very nice, and the hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the airport, which is handy for an early flight. My room felt cosy and pleasant. I would've appreciated toiletries, even just shampoo. Noise from the neighbouring rooms was quite noticeable, but it settled down after 10 pm. I couldn't really hear anything from outside.

It may be close to the airport, but next time I'd rather drive five minutes farther. The place was old and dirty, with poor facilities, and the booking photos didn't match what I found. It was loud, there was a big gap under the doors, and there wasn't a wardrobe or even a coat hanger. Dust was floating around the rooms. Breakfast was not worth it and was available only from 6 to 8. I can't see how this place got four stars.

Ms Ilona was a friendly, helpful host, and the front garden was so well kept it could compete with gardens in the UK. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and nicely decorated. It's a lovely little place to get away near the airport. The road nearby can be noisy, though it gets quieter closer to midnight.
