This is a basic budget place. The entrance and some rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes, and the rooms and corridors looked worn and in need of renovation. The bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning. I stayed here a few years ago and remember it being much fresher and tidier then.

A cheap, simple hostel with reception open around the clock. It’s close to the city center and several fairly large supermarkets, including Biedronka. A good fit for students or anyone after a low price who doesn’t mind appearances. From time to time, there are drunk people in the entrance.

The facilities weren’t the best, though I know you can’t expect too much at this price. I’ve had much better stays elsewhere. Our bedsheets and a blanket were missing, and even after we told the staff, they still weren’t there when we returned that evening. The receptionist had changed by then, and she was friendly and helpful.

If you can spend a little more, I’d pick somewhere else. This could work if you need cheap accommodation, but the building looks old-fashioned, the walls are scratched, and the beds are cheap. Don’t forget to enjoy Poznan city :)

Just 7 or 8 minutes on foot from the centre, and not expensive. It’s a nice, clean hostel with friendly staff, and I think it deserves a visit. Everything was OK 👍👌👌
