Green Hostel

It's inexpensive and clean, and not too far from the city center.

The service is terrible.

The good parts were the central Poznań location, clean bedding and bathroom, friendly staff, and a reasonable price. But music from the club on the ground or basement floor was very loud in the room, sometimes until 4:00 a.m. The room door was falling apart: I had to lift the whole thing to get the lock to catch, and the handle came off. There was dirt under the beds too, like the mop hadn't been used there in ages.

The hostel staff were happy to wait for me and let me in late after my bus was delayed by almost an hour. I found the room comfortable for resting, and breakfast in the morning was tasty and interesting. The internet speed was good compared with other places. The only thing that bothered me a little was the noisy teenagers in the neighboring rooms. I get that it's spring, but people can still be quieter at midnight.
