The room was okay and good value for the money. There’s a direct bus to the railway station. The hostel is tucked into a courtyard, which makes it hard to find, and the door code gave us some trouble, though check-in itself was fine.

It’s affordable and in a nice spot not far from the city center, but the hostel felt shabby and I had issues with cleanliness. The code locks were pretty annoying too. Very average, though I guess it could’ve been worse.

In general, it’s an okay place, with an impressive display of awards that probably goes back to better days. The cleaning, bedding, and shower drain could all be better. Water drained so slowly that it rose to my ankles while I showered. It would also be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in separate rooms, plus a mat in the shower. The price is too high for what you get.

In the low season, it’s a cozy place and good value. I was in a four-bed dorm, and I don’t mind sharing a room at a hostel. What bothered me was the hostel putting someone in with us at 3 am when the rest of the place was empty. There were ten other empty rooms they could have used. It must have been awkward for him to come in and disturb us so late, too. Then he snored! Apart from that, five stars.

The place was clean, but the furniture was awful. The beds were short, narrow, low, and extremely hard. The kitchen furniture looked like it had been picked out of a dumpster.
