The rooms feel stuck around the year 2000, though for a two-star stay I wasn't expecting anything better. The breakfast wasn't worth paying for, and I thought the place was expensive for what it offers. The rough, bumpy uphill drive to the hotel is unpleasant. It's near the edge of town, so getting to the centre on foot would take longer. For a short stop while driving, it's okay, just don't expect much.

The location may explain why I couldn't get mobile reception, and the Wi-Fi didn't work for me either. I paid €72 a night and felt I could have found better value among the apartments and guesthouses nearby. I didn't expect luxury, but the photos made the place look much better than it felt in person. The areas outside the rooms were clean, but our room was messy and had a slightly stale smell. There was dust on the bedside lamps, around the beds, and on the walls, plus flies and spiders. No cutlery, microwave, or kettle were in the room, and I couldn't find instructions about where to get them. Breakfast was expensive and not very tasty. The pool was so cold it seemed usable only for ice swimmers. The supposed gym had one treadmill and otherwise sat empty. I heard there's a newer part of the building, but I didn't see it, so I can't say whether it's better. The receptionist didn't make me feel welcome.

For the price, this is a great place. The rooms were clean and pretty cozy, and I had nothing negative to report. Skiing spots are just 20-50m away.

The food was great and it's a good place for kids. It's a little out of the way, but having a car makes that no problem. I'd go back.
