Emihouse Riverside Apartments

We had no reason to contact the staff, and the Wi-Fi worked fine for the occasional times we used it. We booked directly with Emihouse, which was straightforward. The price is hard to judge: our previous booking was cancelled the day before arrival, and Pentecost weekend had events on, with the whole city seeming booked up. We may have paid above average, and booking earlier might have cost less. The apartment was on the second floor, with a small but sufficient bedroom and double bed, a living room with a generous kitchen, and a shower bathroom. Our big balcony faced south/south-west. We slept with the windows open and could hear traffic, especially those motorcycle idiots you find everywhere, but it was really negligible. Everything was super clean, including the bedding and towels, and seemed freshly built or renovated. We walked to everything we needed, leaving the car in the garage. Lidl, a bakery, some restaurants, and a shopping mall were 5-7 minutes away on foot; the city centre took 15-20 minutes. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and more than the usual two or three plates, and we didn’t miss anything. Even the frying pans looked new. One small thing: a cloth kitchen towel would have helped dry items that shouldn’t go in the dishwasher. Otherwise, all was good. Getting in was easy with a code at the main entrance, and the apartment and building keys were in a locker by the flat door. We reserved a garage space and received clear directions. It fit our station wagon. You’re meant to call a number to open the garage door when entering and leaving, though we didn’t need to since someone had opened it each time. We stayed five nights, two adults with a baby, and would definitely recommend the place. We brought our own baby gear, including a feeding seat and a foldable 90x90 bed/playpen.

The check-in was a hassle because there’s no reception and the internet around the building was poor. We had to walk down the street to register our documents, then come back before we could get into the building. The location itself is handy, not far from the town centre despite being on a busy road. We had two young children, and the apartment felt far too cramped. The two bedrooms were okay, but the kitchen was tiny and the sofa was basically in it, so I can’t really call that area a living room. Of the apartments we stayed in around town, this was by far the smallest. It was clean, though the balcony had an unbelievable number of spiders. I’ve never seen so many at once. In August it was very hot. The air con eventually cooled the room once we figured out the settings, but it was weak compared with others we’ve used, especially surprising in such a small place. I personally wouldn’t stay again. For a couple who won’t spend much time inside, it might be fine.

We had a huge terrace facing the river, and the beds were really comfortable. The place is new and easy to enter, with a clean apartment, all the kitchen things you might need, and toiletries in the bathroom. Rzeszow centre is walkable, with lots of cafes nearby, plus a Lidl and a large shopping mall.

Communication was quick, and the apartment made for a great stay. Really good experience.
