The young bartender and waitress in the attached restaurant and bar couldn’t help me with a UPS envelope, and there was nobody else around. I never got my document and left the country without it. I’d consider coming back someday if the place had decent management. The woman who checked me in was nice, but the older man was rude and ignorant. I shared a bathroom with someone who smoked in there constantly. Whenever I came out, my hair and clothes smelled like an ashtray, and when I managed to find someone to ask, they said nothing could be done. For four nights they gave me one instant coffee, one teabag and one towel, with no shower mat. The shower door leaked onto the floor every time, and there was nothing to soak the water up. As a foreigner travelling in Poland, I was surprised this otherwise nice business fell short like this.

The room was spacious and had a balcony, and the toilet was super clean. The staff were very friendly, and we could leave our luggage for a couple of hours after check-out while we walked around the city. The hostel was better than we expected.

The one thing I can’t complain about was the kind, sweet service, along with the location. The room itself was tiny and had no AC. There was a roof window, but no handle, so I couldn’t open it for fresh air. The main light didn’t work either, and the room only got daylight through that window. There wasn’t any soap in the dispenser, and I could hardly breathe with no way to air the room out. It wasn’t a pleasant stay.

Good location, clean rooms and friendly staff. For a hostel, it was totally fine, so I was surprised it had such a low Google Maps rating. The only downside is there’s no elevator.

The room was too hot and humid, and I was charged twice for the same transaction. They promised a refund, but it still hasn’t come through. My bank is going to charge me 6 Euros for the chargeback.
