Hotel Polonia

Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots to choose from and everything we tried tasting delicious. The location was convenient, reception stayed open around the clock, and our room was clean. There was a kettle with cups for tea and coffee, plus both air conditioning and a fan. The staff were friendly, though at check-in the employee switched from English to Polish after seeing our Ukrainian passport without asking us anything. We found that offensive and inappropriate. The room was quite small and the bathroom tiny. There’s no elevator, which could matter, and sound carries through the walls. We had only one small bin in the bathroom and could have used another in the room, plus little spoons for the cups. You have to ask reception for a hairdryer. At 75 euros a night for two people including breakfast, it felt a bit expensive for what we got from a two-star hotel in Rzeszow, though it’s still a good budget option overall.

Nothing particularly special about the place, and it was a little noisy, but the receptionist was really pleasant. A good stop while traveling.

I was there about two and a half years ago and remember a clean, pleasant room, good breakfast, and friendly staff. This morning I knocked to ask for help getting a taxi to the airport, and the polite woman in reservations sorted it out for me. Thanks so much for everything.

The room was decent and the price reasonable, so the hotel itself was fine. Getting to the station was awkward with the road works outside: the route was rough and felt like walking around nine sides of a dodecahedron. There was also a sewer smell. My heavy bag was a struggle on the stairs since I was on the third floor and there’s no lift.
