SPA Hotel Splendor

There isn't a lot for tourists to see in Rzeszow, but this hotel makes for a lovely romantic escape, especially for couples. The grounds are huge, with parks, grills, kids' play areas, a zipline, a pond, and more. The rooms are a bit small but modern, with a very quiet AC, smart TV with YouTube, and a fridge. Shower pressure was fine, and we had no issues. The pool is spacious and the saunas are good, so the SPA area is lovely. We got to breakfast late after sleeping in, but there was still plenty of choice, and the friendly lady offered to bring us more.

The staff were wonderful, and several of the young people speak English. One even found an HDMI cable so I could hook my laptop up to the TV in our room. The room was comfortable for two, and larger parties can book suites. There's also a venue on site for weddings and other big gatherings. Breakfast comes with the stay, and there's a proper spread of Polish dishes each morning from 7-10, including eggs, sausage and crepes, all good quality. The dinner menu is affordable and good, too. I had a breaded pork chop with potatoes and a roll for around $18. They also serve fish, salads and soups. Gluten-free choices exist, though the selection is limited. Guests can use the spa, sauna and pool, and there's an outdoor play area for kids in warmer weather. Room prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a 4-star hotel in this part of Poland.

The spa treatments are well worth trying, especially the massages. Kasia gave me an amazing massage and shared useful advice on daily body care. The hotel sits in a remote, quiet spot with a nice view, and I definitely plan to return soon. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. My room, bathroom, restaurant and spa were all very clean and comfortable. I also really enjoyed the restaurant food, and breakfast is included in the price, with a huge spread. A hidden gem!

The pool and jacuzzi area was pleasant, with an outdoor spot to relax, and the hotel has beautiful views. Desk and restaurant service were very good. The food wasn't fresh, unfortunately. The potatoes and chicken breast seemed reheated, and both tasted dry, with the potatoes seeming old. I'd avoid the treatments. During mine, the male masseur asked inappropriate questions and made comments that left me really uncomfortable. I didn't see certificates on the wall, so I'm not sure he had any training or qualifications. The facial hurt, the massage covered only one side of my body, and I felt cold the whole time.
