The family apartments have enough room to spend a rainy day inside with the kids, and the apartments themselves are nice. But the food is awful, way below any standard. Dinner is served from 4 to 6, which is hardly dinner, and breakfast is poor too. The buns seem like a joke, straight from the supermarket. The kids’ playroom was one of the main reasons we booked, and having a TV constantly running there defeats the point. If I wanted my kid watching TV, they could do that in the room. It distracts the kids from playing, and when someone turns it off, somebody else turns it right back on.

The pools, both indoor and outdoor, and the restaurant are on site, and they keep adding attractions, especially for children, which gives adults some time off. It’s an easy seven-minute walk to the beach and Sarbinowo High Street, with the usual seaside shops, restaurants, and bars. There’s a great specialist ice cream parlour, "Świat Lodòw", as well as tea and coffee rooms. The very best ice cream, though, is at the booth a little farther down the road on the opposite side. It’s not fancy and the flavour choice is small, but what they serve is excellent. It’s called Grabovski, and they also have a spot on the shore "boardwalk" or promenade. This is a new Apart-Hotel development.
