Breakfast was really loud because the cleaning staff opened the doors to the restaurant area and started vacuuming while we were eating. The table napkins were dirty, and although I asked the waiter and the manager twice to clear the empty dishes, nobody helped. We were left surrounded by plates, spoons, and cups. The glasses were dirty too, with fingerprints on them, as if they hadn’t been washed. There wasn’t much to choose from: two kinds of sausage, eggs, cheese, and a few dishes that looked unappetizing. None of the guests seemed willing to try those.

The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the food amazing. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. It’s only a short drive from the Krakow airport. I’m definitely coming back.

In the restaurant, the waiters never checked whether everything was alright or if we needed anything. We had to call them over each time. My room was cold even with the heating turned up to the maximum, so I slept under two duvets.

The restaurant was good. As a Czech man, I wasn’t keen on the beer, though. I can’t expect Polish people to learn to serve it the way I like, not so cold and with some foam on top. During those very hot days in August 2018, at 33°C, I missed having air conditioning. Luckily the night was quite cold, so I managed ;-)
