The beach is beautiful, and the sea has that unique blue-steel color. There are quaint, stylish old villas and a very long pier for walks. It's a fabulous, unique place, full of tourists. Enjoy!

There are plenty of shops and outlets inside the railway station for everyday necessities, and toilets are available there too. It was very well maintained and not overly crowded. The ticket window is underground, or you can buy tickets through apps like jakdojade. Trains use both platform and track numbers, so check the track number, since platform 2 can be on either side.

The station is great, and public transit is reliable once you can make sense of its complexity. My spouse speaks Polish fairly well, so I had to rely on him to get our tickets and such. Otherwise, I'd have needed Google Translate to understand the instructions. If it's hot and you're going to old town, book a reserved seat on the air-conditioned train. You won't regret it. The older train cars can get very, very humid, but they're still a good ride.

A nice city and a pleasant place to relax with your family by the beach. It has Europe's longest wooden pier on the Baltic Sea.

The station ticket counter staff are very helpful. Sopot Main Railway Station is right by Sopot Centrum Shopping Center, in the city center, where you'll find groceries, a bakery, fast food, a pharmacy and plenty of other shops.
