We had a delicious meal of fresh food, including traditional Polish favourites, and there were plenty of good wine options. The welcome was warm, and the guest rooms are charmingly furnished and comfortable. Dom pod Twierdza is a beautiful, welcoming place in the hillside town of Srebrna Gora (Silver Mountain), with a restaurant, accommodation, and a large event space. A great stop for dinner, an overnight stay, or a longer vacation with family or friends.

The only drawback I noticed was how little parking there is. Inside, it has the feel of an old village house, with lots of exposed brick. The owner was really nice and caring, the food was homemade, and it was good value for money.

They opened the restaurant a few minutes before its opening time, which was really flexible of them. The food was fresh and very tasty. I’d recommend this place.

The food was good, though nothing special, and the restaurant menu was limited. The historic building is nice, but it was frustrating that the staff didn’t speak English.
