Boleslav Home De Luxe

Really comfortable, super clean, and I love the new modern design.

We visited in May 2026. The place was spotless, the staff were helpful, and it’s probably the best place to check in in this city. The rooms are nice and cozy, and it’s peaceful and quiet, with a nice terrace. You can walk to the city center or borrow a bike from the hotel. Small grocery stores are nearby. I really recommend it if you want a good, peaceful stay. 100% recommended.

Service was a plus, as other reviews have mentioned, but the 4+ rating feels too high. At first glance the room seemed fine, then the problems added up. Most of the roughly dozen light switches didn’t work, and the one that did gave off such bright light that we ended up using the bathroom light instead. The lamps by the bed were dead, and the nearby sockets had no power either, so I charged my phone at the other end of the room. It was too late to report that specifically. The bathroom door handle was broken and nearly came off in my hand, though it seemed like it only needed tightening with an Allen key. The toilet seat was crooked and broken, and the bin pedal didn’t work, so we had to open it by hand. In the shower, the head kept sliding down instead of staying where it should, which made it hard to use. It looks to me like the owner has let the rooms go for years, without proper investment or maintenance. Even if guests hadn’t reported these faults, staff should have spotted and fixed them. I wanted to report everything myself, but was leaving when nobody was at reception. I’m listing this to give the room a chance to be fixed, not out of malice, and to explain my rating. There’s potential here, but a realistic score is 3/5, definitely not 4+.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and made sure we had all the information we needed.
