Apartments in Villa Barbara

I got to stay in two of the apartments. They were large, spacious rooms, really more like full apartments, and very well kept. Everything was clean, not a speck of dust. On the big table there was a crisp white tablecloth and fresh cut flowers in a vase; flowers on the windowsills were arranged in a thoughtful style. The large apartments each have two huge balconies, both full of flowers too. The bathroom sparkled, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. The house is close to the center, which is a real plus. Most of all, the hosts were very kind and polite.

We spent September 2024 in the large holiday apartment. It was spacious, very clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. The furnishings were high quality, and the hostess was very nice. We can definitely recommend Villa Barbara.

For a winter break with six people in 2023, this was a great place. The apartment was warm and clean, with lovely wood finishes, comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi throughout, and a TV with HDMI. The kitchen was ready for cooking all our meals, with dishes, pots, cutlery, glasses, cups, a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and other appliances. There were also bedding, towels, a bowl, a mop, and more. The large bathroom had a washing machine, there was a balcony and free parking, and the ski storage on the ground floor was heated. Communication with the owner was excellent. The slopes are about 1.3 km away, so you need to get there yourself. As seems to be the case in much of Poland, there are no ski buses. Świeradów has free public transport, but it isn't set up for skiers. The town is not well prepared for tourists when it comes to dining. Many places close around 5-6 PM, and only a few stay open until 8:00 PM. Most places near the pedestrian zone have just a few tables. At Piwniczka u Wioli you might wait an hour for a table. Thankfully, Hotel Kryształ's restaurant has seating, delicious food, large portions, and reasonable prices.

The apartments are very spacious and fully equipped, with all the necessary kitchen appliances. The house is close to the city center and around a 15-minute walk from the ski lift. There's lots of parking out front and a courtyard with a fireplace behind the house. Highly recommend it.
