Cottonina Hotel & Mineral SPA Resort

The food was good during Easter, with different meats, salads, and desserts, and I appreciated that they offered free water at dinner. The hotel has several buildings in a secured area with cameras, parking, a children's playground, and a calm atmosphere. There are plenty of activities, including a pool, sauna, spa, outdoor jacuzzi, massages, an Xbox room, and table tennis. The rooms are nice and big enough, with good bathrooms. I wasn't happy with the cleaning. They only emptied the rubbish each day. Tea and coffee were provided, but dirty cups weren't replaced, which disappointed me since other hotels I've stayed at normally do that. They also didn't vacuum daily, even though there was carpet, so I didn't feel comfortable there.

A beautiful spa resort in the middle of nowhere, perfect for a relaxing weekend out in the countryside.

We loved our stay and would come back. It felt like good value, and we'd recommend it for families with kids. The rooms were new, super clean, nicely decorated, and came with tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a big bathroom. There's a spa with a large swimming pool, a small children's pool, four kinds of sauna, and an outdoor hot jacuzzi. They also have umbrellas if you need them, sledges and buttons, a great indoor playground, another playground outside, a gym, and a playroom. Breakfast was very good, with a nice view through the big windows. Massages and mineral treatments are available for an extra charge. We didn't like that there was no smart TV or warm milk for cereal at breakfast.

This was our second time at Cottonina resort with the whole family, four adults and two kids. We came over Poland's long May weekend, one of the busiest times of the year, but the size and organization of the resort meant we never felt the crowds. There is a lot of space throughout, including the canteen, spa, playground, and shared event areas. Kids have plenty of green space to play, with a fireplace, BBQ, playground, and toys. The resort is on the edge of Swieradow-Zdroj, with nearby trails and hiking viewpoints. The hotel and spa are well organized and maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful with all kinds of requests. Adults and kids can use the spa, though after 8 some sauna doors should be closed. A special thank you to the resort manager for upgrading our stay after a booking mistake. We really appreciated the proactive customer service, which I've rarely seen in western Europe. Thanks, we'll definitely be back.
