Baltic Apartments - Apartament Nemuna

Apartment no. 7 had some real pluses: it was spacious, close to the beach, and had a balcony that was lovely for morning coffee. But the bathroom windows had no blinds, and with the neighboring building's windows directly opposite, using the bathroom with the lights on wasn't possible. The balcony was relaxing in the daytime, then miserable in the evenings because a nearby promenade venue played wedding music until 11 p.m., later on Fridays. There was also a toilet smell that I couldn't get rid of even after buying cleaning products. The apartment needs a general refresh, and the rent doesn't match its condition. These are the main reasons I wouldn't choose or recommend it for a holiday.

The house is in a really lovely location and looks very nice from the outside, but the apartment was awful and completely outdated. We left early and went home. I can't recommend it.

The best thing was the location, though there was no sea view because it was blocked. The combined sleeping and living area had a very uncomfortable couch to sleep on. Why not put a bed there? The shower head kept drooping, so you had to hold it, and the bathroom cabinet was broken. An oven would be nice. Cleanliness was so-so. Party music played every night until midnight.

The parking space we booked wasn't there, and after a long argument we only got one on the second day. Even then, the spaces were extremely tight. Water pressure was absent or very low, sometimes there was no water at all, and what came out was cold. We have long hair and had to heat bottled water to wash it. The technician who came spoke only Polish or English and couldn't help. Filling the bathtub halfway took nearly two hours at any time of day. The outlets were loose in the wall, there was no Wi-Fi, and the TV channels were only in Polish. The laminate was badly warped and the mattresses were falling apart. They should put money into the place instead of just raking it in. Everything was a mess, every day brought another bad surprise, and the holiday was more stressful than relaxing. This was the worst accommodation we've ever had, and we'll never book here again. A 25% refund seems fair. You can't reason with the administration: they're always right, and as a tourist you're always screwed!
